Fiscal Sponsorship Annual Report

Each project is required to submit a yearly report in order to keep their account status in good standing. This applies to projects that have not raised or received any funds in the previous calendar year as well as well as projects that have.

The report must be submitted by MARCH 31st 2026 for your project's account to remain in good standing.

If the report is not received by this date, your project will be placed on hold and you will not be able to access funds until the report is received.

Total Funds Distributed During the Calendar Year

Total amount of funds that have been disbursed to you during the previous calendar year. You can request a balance statement by filling out the related form

Total amount of funds that have been disbursed to you since you were accepted into the fiscal sponsorship program.

Cost Report

Upload a detailed cost report accounting for all funds distributed to your project during the past calendar year. This should be in an Excel spreadsheet, a template of which can be downloaded here.

Please account for funds from your fiscal sponsorship account spent between January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 ONLY. The total on the cost report should equal the amount on the 1099 Film Independent has sent you. Please account for any overages or underages.

If you DID NOT receive funds from Film Independent during 2025 there is no need to submit a cost report.
